I had a very\u00a0enjoyable and informative time; the papers and discussions were excellent. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.davidbordwell.net\/blog\/2012\/12\/06\/germany-in-autumn-in-style\/\" target=\"_blank\">Here&#8217;s my account of my visit, <\/a>along with side trips to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.filmmuseum-potsdam.de\" target=\"_blank\">the Filmmuseum Potsdam<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.studiobabelsberg.com\/en\/filming-in-germany-film-production-services-soft-money-incentives-germany\/\" target=\"_blank\">Studio Babelsberg<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>A few days ago, Malte published <a href=\"http:\/\/www.necsus-ejms.org\/even-today-there-are-people-who-think-these-harmless-little-books-are-dangerous-an-interview-with-david-bordwell\/\" target=\"_blank\">an interview<\/a> he conducted with me on email. It&#8217;s in <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.necsus-ejms.org\/portfolio-type\/journal\/\" target=\"_blank\">NECSUS<\/a><\/em>,\u00a0the English-language journal of European Film Studies. Regular readers of this blog might be interested in its take on my academic work in film history and analysis. It discusses some things that we haven&#8217;t broached hereabouts, as far as I remember.
