With our new edition of Film History: An Introduction<\/em> in the final phases of production, we\u2019re pretty busy. But I still hope to post an entry on Ashes of Time Redux<\/em> later this week. I\u2019ve got some pretty pictures, at least.<\/p>\n

In the meantime, if you know the films of Carl Dreyer<\/strong>, you must look at this mini-movi<\/a>e. It was created by Henrik Fuglsang<\/strong>, the Danish Film Institute archivist at work on a massive website<\/a> devoted to Dreyer.<\/p>\n
