Kevin&#8217;s is something of an experimental piece, because it presents extracts from the entry in different voices and languages. I wasn&#8217;t able to narrate it because I&#8217;ve lost my voice, but the readers did better than I could have. Thanks to Evan Davis and Yuqian Yan, as well as the translators involved.<\/p>\n<p>You can buy Liu&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/dgeneratefilms.com\/catalog\/\" target=\"_blank\">first two Oxhide films<\/a> on DVD at <a href=\"http:\/\/dgeneratefilms.com\/tag\/kevin-lee\/\" target=\"_blank\">dGenerate Films<\/a>, along with other important recent Chinese titles.\u00a0Every university film department, and every serious lover of cinema, needs to own these movies. Liu shows what you can do with very few means but a lot of imagination. And <em>Oxhide III<\/em> is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.davidbordwell.net\/blog\/2011\/04\/11\/arthouse-suspense-in-big-and-small-doses\/\" target=\"_blank\">in the works<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>And don&#8217;t forget to visit the videos of introductions and Q &amp; A&#8217;s from this year&#8217;s Ebertfest <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ustream.tv\/channel\/ebertfest-2011\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>. Some are streaming, some are archived, all are interesting.
