Following up on this December entry [1], I’m glad to report that a recent scan has revealed that my medical treatment has gone well and that the cancer seems to have been eradicated. I’ll be doing another scan in a month or so, but at the moment my doctors are quite confident that the treatment was successful. There will be several more months of recovery dealing with side effects of the surgery and the radiation, but at least the path forward is clear and hopeful.
